Handling the Winds of Trial

You may have wondered often times why you were born to be on earth at this time. “Why wasn’t I born 200 or 1000 years ago? Why wasn’t I there in Jerusalem when Jesus walked on the earth? Why was I born in this particular family? Why do I have this color, height and nationality?”

The only wise God saw you long time ago, planned and purposed for you to be in this body with this color with this height and it was just right. He chose you to be on earth in 2019. You are right person for this season.
Moreover, He put you in this geographical area and gave you the grace so that you would recognize your call and your purpose and fulfill it without struggle.

Yes, according to the Bible, we are living in the last days before the Rapture of the Church. There are going to be interesting times, very trying times, testing times because of the atmosphere of the last days. But, according to God’s great wisdom, we are the ones that He chose for this time. So do not worry or question His choice.
But the challenges and tests would surely come.

Peace with God through Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Peace with

1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
2 By Whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the Glory of God.
3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the Love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost Who is given unto us.
6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

Romans 5:1-6

Romans 5:1 says, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. This is our position where we stand and rejoice in the grace expecting the Glory of God. Jesus has put us into that place where we can just stand and rejoice.

We have a hope – a confident expectation, in which we rejoice. We have something in the future, which is glorious. When the righteous rejoice there is great Glory. This place in Christ that He has put us in is a place of great rejoicing. Even when it does not make sense, we can choose to rejoice and get excited. Jesus gave us that place. Therefore, we simply stand in that place and rejoice. The choice of standing is up to us. You have to decide whether you’re going to stand or whether you’re going to just roll over and just quit.

Paul continues to say that we also glory in tribulations. This means that no matter how hard it gets we choose to glorify Him and boast about this Christ given place. We willingly make a big deal about it. Then he says, “knowing”. There is a rejoicing that you do when you do not know anything, but simply because the Bible says “rejoice”.
Then there is rejoicing that we do because you know certain things – certain truths and ways of God.

This is what settles things for you – when you know. God has a way of letting you know these things also.

Paul said knowing that tribulation works patience or employs patience. Then patience brings experience and experience develops hope. Unless you had decided to stand, you would not have an experience – a tried tested proof of God’s character in your life.

If you stand trusting His Word during a financial trouble, you’ll find out you have the testimony that God will supply all your needs. Where you face a physical health challenge, you need to stand there, believing that you were healed by His stripes 2000 years ago and rejoice expecting the Glory. God will show up. The testimony of healing and health will come and you have an experience. Stand on the Word until you get your testimony.

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, Who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

1 Corinthians 10:13

God will not allow you to be tempted or tried beyond what you are able and would always make a way for you to escape. However, He says that you may be able to bear it. This means that there is a set up there, where you know, you can do this and you have the faith to do it. You have the strength to stand.

When you go to the gym for the first time, you may be tempted to take the heavier weights. It may feel embarrassing to take the smaller, tiny weights in the beginning. But, if you directly go and pick up the heavy ones, you may get a hernia or other problems. Therefore, it is wisdom to grab the small ones first and then see what you can do with it. As your coach instructs you and encourages you, slowly increase the number of reps with it and then add some more. Slowly you find you are getting stronger by the day and one day, you find yourself carrying more than your own weight.

That is how our faith muscles work. As you continue standing, and you continue lifting little by little, you find out that you start moving things bigger than yourself. You have to decide to stand there and go at it declaring that you will move it and continue there. As you develop the endurance and the patience staying there, rejoicing and getting excited, you will find yourself moving things even greater and greater.

You may have to first stand and believe for a common cold, and then slowly you deal with a headache and then a fever. Unless you have stood and received your healing for a flu and a fever, you may not be able to stand if cancer hits you. Start believing for the 50 rupees, then the 100s and then for thousands and lakhs and crores.

While you are trying to stand in that place, it may affect you physically also. You may get easily irritated or allergic or face some kind of challenge in your health. However, you have to decide and say, “I’m going to Rejoice; I’m not going to be worried; I’m not going to be anxious; I’m going to stand and rejoice in the hope of the victory of the Glory of God.”

There is the logical thing about God. The Word is “logos”. That is where we get the English Word “logic”.

Logic is the way God thinks. We are handling things His way. He says, “I know how much you can handle so I will not allow you to be tempted tested tried above what you can handle. I’ll make sure you’ll hear and you’re fed properly on those things so that you can handle it and win.”

When you go for a job interview, the employer always looks for your previous job experiences. You may have all the required College degrees and all the designations after your name, but they would still be more interested in your experience. Simply put, they are asking, “When problems come, can you handle it?” If you can, that is when you become precious to them.

But the God of all grace, Who hath called us unto His eternal Glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

1 Peter 5:10

The Bible says after you have been tested, tried and suffered for some time, God will settle you, strengthen you, establish you in such a way that you look as if “Did this guy ever go through anything “? That is the end of the story. By the time it is over, you will be as though “What? Did this person even go through anything? He looks like nothing touches him.” You are transformed from someone who was very shaky and unstable, into someone who is unshakable, immovable and always abounding in the work of the Lord

Get used to that picture. Stand today. Stand now. Stand one-step at a time, one day at a time.

God wants you to see and declare the end from the beginning itself. So you need to get used to seeing the end from the beginning.

Why do I stand and rejoice? Because of the hope of the Glory. Why am I excited?

Because I see Glory. I see Victory. I see the place on the other side and I know I am standing in the grace of God. I’m standing in the place where the supply of Heaven is more than enough.

And then, as I stand, I get an experience. One day at a time – Just Keep Standing. Then the experience produces hope and hope will not put you to shame. Because the Love of God is poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit.

Scripture says, while we were yet sinners Christ died for us because He loved us. How much more now that we are his sons?

We saw in ROMANS 5: 11 that his life right now will save us. So we will stand and rejoice!

And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by Whom we have

now received the atonement.

Romans 5:11

Atonement actually means an exchange.

He exchanged dying in a young age so that we would live a long age. He hung on a cross – alone, so that you would never be alone. He became the curse, so that we would be delivered from all curses. He took our sin so that we would become righteousness. He went to hell so that we would go to heaven; took every sickness so that we would walk in healing. He took our weaknesses and He gave us his strength

The whole thing is an exchange. This is our life. That is why we can boldly say, “The Lord is my salvation. The Lord is my strength.”

He gave us His own wisdom, His own life, His own love nature. Then He gave us His own armor. You have been given everything – Everything He used. He did not give you something cheap or duplicate. You got the real deal – the same that Jesus used. That is why our default setting is Rejoice.

Some of the problems and challenges we face in life will always try to wipe the smile off our face. Nevertheless, we have to choose to remember and speak these things:

“I stand in the grace of God and I expect the Glory. Therefore, I rejoice – knowing that I am going to get an experience. And that experience is going to give me hope and this hope will never put me to shame, because God loves me and He is praying for me, and He is speaking for me. He is on my side and not against me. I am saved, delivered, healed and protected by His life. Because now He lives for me. He died for me, went to hell for me, rose again for me. He loves me too much. So He goes on into heaven, opens another office and decides to keep praying for me, speaking for me until I come back home victorious through His life.”

For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.

Romans 5:10

Saved by His life – It is talking to Believers. There is a life at the right hand of God pleading our case. He won’t stop till we are delivered to the uttermost. Whether it is a Business issue, job problem, ministry, family situation, raising children, finances, anything – We will be delivered to the uttermost.

We already got the exchange. Remember, it is not just you anymore. It is Christ. It is His garment, His life, His armor, His mind, His victory, His light, His life and His Salvation. Everything that was His, He gave to us.

It has already defeated the enemy and now it stands to make sure we demonstrate that defeat in our lives.

Now it is our turn to stand, rejoice, and say, “Hey, devil, you are already defeated. Glory is coming. Honor is coming. I am going to experience it. That is my hope. I am going to stand on the other side and rejoice about this.”
